Clean N' Go Terms of Service
1. Services Provided: Clean N' Go Powerwashing provides exterior cleaning (powerwashing, soft washing) and junk removal/hauling services. By booking a service, the Client agrees to the terms outlined herein.
2. Client Responsibilities (Day of Service)
- Access: Client must ensure the property is accessible. For powerwashing, outdoor water spigots must be turned on and functional.
- Preparation: For powerwashing, windows must be tightly shut. For junk removal, items should be clearly identified.
- Safety: Pets and children must be kept away from the work area during service.
3. Liability & Exclusions
- Pre-existing Damage: The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g., loose siding, rotted wood, leaking window seals, or cracked concrete) that become apparent during cleaning.
- Surface Imperfections: Powerwashing may reveal imperfections or stains (like oxidation or deep oil spots) that were previously hidden by dirt.
- Personal Property: The Company is not liable for damage to items left in the work area (e.g., outdoor furniture, electronics, or plants) that were not moved or protected by the Client.
4. Junk Removal Specifics
- Prohibited Items: We do not haul hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, asbestos, lead paint, or medical waste).
- Ownership: Client warrants that all items provided for removal are owned by the Client or that the Client has legal authority to dispose of them.
5. Payment & Collections Policy
Deposits and Booking
- Non-Refundable Deposit: A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your service date and time. This deposit will be applied toward your final invoice.
- Cancellation/Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. While the deposit is non-refundable, we may, at our discretion, allow a one-time transfer of the deposit to a new date if sufficient notice is given.
Payment Methods & Fees
- Credit Card Payments: All credit card and debit card transactions are subject to a processing fee (typically 3-4% depending on the card type). This fee covers the cost of secure electronic payment processing.
- Cash and Check: Payments made via Cash or Check are not subject to credit card processing fees.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service.
Sales Tax Requirements: Clean N' Go operates in multiple jurisdictions and complies with all state and local tax laws.
- New York Jobs: Services performed in New York are subject to NY State and local sales tax (based on the county of service, e.g., Nassau County).
- Connecticut Jobs: Services performed in Connecticut are subject to the CT state sales tax (6.35%) as required for enumerated services such as maintenance and cleaning.
- Note: Tax rates are determined by the location where the service is actually performed.
6. Media Release Unless otherwise requested, Client agrees to allow the Company to take "Before & After" photos/videos of the work for marketing and insurance purposes.
